Mars is a small town in Butler County, Pennsylvania. Its population was 1,699 at the 2010 census. You can visit this historic town by driving through the area. It is a good place to stop and enjoy a meal. Besides its food, Mars is a great place to visit with kids. 


Its history is also worth exploring. There is a history museum in the town. Its name comes from the German colonial era, and the town is known for its beer.The town's early history dates back to 1792, when the first settler arrived. It prospered as a trading center along the Baltimore & Ohio Railroad, and later the Butler Short Line connecting Pittsburgh to Butler.


 The city also benefited from the arrival of coal and oil, and the town's strategic location made it a natural trade center. While you might not want to eat at this quaint town, you can visit nearby attractions such as the UPMC Lemieux Sports Complex, the Western Pennsylvania Model Railroad Museum, and North Park.Although the borough of Mars, Pennsylvania may have a quirky name, its residents are proud of their celestial name.

 In fact, they even erected a real flying saucer in honor of their celestial moniker. Located in the town square, this structure is a great place to relax on a warm summer day. If you're a nerdy type, the town's official Flying Saucer has been named after it.Residents of the town of Mars will likely be pleased to discover that the city has many attractions.
